A 10x15 calendar and a 23x36 calendar look like the same product at different sizes. On the press floor, they are very different jobs. The bigger the calendar, the bigger the machine, the sheet and the finishing equipment needed to make it — and that is where Sivakasi stands apart.
Why size changes everything
A large calendar board is printed on a large sheet. To print it cleanly — with sharp registration across all four colours and rich, even ink — the press must handle that full sheet in one pass. Smaller presses simply cannot take the sheet, and splitting a big picture across sheets is not an option for a calendar.
Then comes finishing. A big board still has to be laminated, fancy cut to the outline of the artwork, and given its foil, emboss or UV glitter effect — each step on equipment that can take a sheet that size.
